Programme Format
The ANCIPS-2011 scientific programme will comprise of invited lectures, plenary sessions, symposia, free papers, and posters. Moreover, there shall be attractive focused workshops, stimulating debates, panel discussions and ‘meet the experts’ sessions.
In an effort towards taking science to the people, there will be a special public awareness programme consisting of public lectures, panel discussions for mental health service providers and users, workshops in schools, colleges and corporate organisations as well as special scientific releases for the media.
Focused Workshops And Symposia Scientific Papers and Posters Workshops and Symposia are invited from institutions/ departments/ groups/ individual psychiatrists and other mental health professionals for conducting small workshops and symposia on specific subjects or areas. An abstract consisting of an outline of the subject and contents of the proposed workshop / symposia along with the names of the presenters/ trainers may please be sent by post or email to: Dr. Ajit Avasthi Workshops shall be of 2 to 2.5 hours duration for which a conference room that can seat up to 50 people shall be provided. Awards The presenting author of a paper submitted for any award should be a member of IPS/ WPA/ IAPA/ BIPA (Delegates who are not members of IPS shall be required to produce a copy of their Certificate of Membership). The author must have registered as a delegate and must have no duespending towards the Society. Four copies of the full paper competing for an award must be submitted by post or email to: Dr. R.
