The venue for the conference is Multipurpose Hall at Kamla Devi Block, India International Centre, New Delhi.

IIC is Set in the green acres of what is called "Lutyen's Delhi and considered one of the country's premier cultural institutions, the India International Centre is a non-government institution widely regarded as a place where statesmen, diplomats, policy makers, intellectuals, scientists, jurists, writers, artists and members of civil society meet to initiate the exchange of new ideas and knowledge in the spirit of international cooperation.

HIVMAI 2014

The IIC is an iconic institution of Delhi, designed by the architect Joseph Allen Stein, who has designed many of the buildings around it as well. The IIC has an active calendar of events including seminars, conferences, exhibitions, performances and festivals which are open to the public. Participants of HIVMAI will thus have easy access to the programmes during the conference.

IIC is situated in Central Delhi, next to the historic Lodi Gardens. The area around the IIC has many institutions such as the UNICEF, World Bank, the Ford Foundation, the India Habitat Centre, Tibet House, World Wide Fund, the Islamic Centre, INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage) etc.

There are restaurants within easy reach, ranging from the elegant Lodi in the Lodi Gardens, and cafeterias of the Indian Islamic Centre, Alliance Francaise, and the All American Diner and Eatopia at the India Habitat Centre. The nearest shopping area is Jorbagh Market and Khan Market.

Getting there
Though on Max Mueller Marg, the area in which the IIC is situated is referred to as Lodhi Estate.
You can ask for Lodhi Road and Lodhi Estate which most taxi drivers would recognise.
The Metro Stations that are nearest to the IIC are Jorbagh on the Yellow Line (Connecting Jahangir Puri and HUDA City Centre in Gurgaon, and Khan Market on the Violet Line (Connecting Central Secretariat and Badarpur).
